In 1971 10 Parrots were rebuilt as cable laying wagons for the Southern Region, 8 of these wagons were modified to have 3 spindles for carrying cable drums. The remaining two wagons were modified to accept two larger cable drums, kits for both variants are available below. All items required are stated on the linked page.
